Branch County Democrats Calendar as of 02/18/2026

March 28, 2026. March on March 28 - we will meet at the Four Corners Park and march downtown, if you are available. This is a No Kings Day Protest so it’s important that as many people attend as possible to get closer to the 3.5% figure.

April 4 to April 18, 2026. Adopt a Highway, typically 10:00am to 11:30am. Schedule will be based on the weather.

April 19, 2026. MDP Endorsement Convention, downtown Detroit, all day. we will take a straw poll of the AG and SOS Candidates at our 4/16/2026 meeting to best represent Branch County.

May 1, 2026. Fund Raising Dinner. Details to follow.

May 5, 2026. Deadline for Precinct Delegate candidates to file paperwork at the County Clerk’s office. Anita has forms for Precinct Delegates.

May 5, 2026. School Millage election for Coldwater and Quincy School systems.

June, 2026 (date TBD) Election Inspector Training - sign up at your City or Township Clerk’s office. Both the City of Coldwater and Branch County are seeking Democrats to work at polling locations. This is a paid position. The training is once every two years.

June 20, 2026. Strawberry Festival. 9:00am to 3:00pm, Tibbits Plaza pending approval of membership.

July 11 - 19. Adopt a Highway, typically 10:00am - 11:30am. Schedule will be based on the weather.

July 16 - 18. Bronson Polish Festival, do we want to participate with the booth or be in the parade? Do we want to contribute to their Fireworks?

August 4, 2026. Michigan Primary Election.

August 9 - 15, 2026. Branch County Fair. This takes everyone’s help. Sign up will be posted.

August 15 or September 1, 2026. Open Branch County Dems HQ for the election season. Location TBD.

September 19, 2026. Apple Fest, 9:00am - 3:00pm, Tibbets Plaza pending approval of membership.
